IECE leads the electric vehicle policy and regulation roadmap

Dr. Aazir Khan, Director of the Integrated Centre of Excellence, represented IECE and the University of Lahore in support of its Green and Electric Vehicles Initiative at a national-level workshop held on the 21st and 22nd of March, 2022. The road mapping and scoping discussions focused on the sustainability of clean and renewable energy sources, coal and gas moratoriums, sustainable transport, and financing policies.

The workshop brought together key partners including RDPI – Rural Development Policy Institute, Indus Consortium, SDPI – Sustainable Development Policy Institute, PRIED – Policy Research Institute for Equitable Development, and the Alternative Law Collective, among others.

The primary goal of this roadmap is to support policy formulation and engage parliamentarians, stakeholders, and end users in promoting sustainable green energy and inclusive growth across Pakistan.
