Dr Aazir Khan

Dr. Aazir Khan is an internationally recognised engineer, technology innovator, researcher, and policy advocate working at the intersection of energy transition, artificial intelligence, sustainable mobility, and climate action.

Over the past three decades, he has worked across industry, academia, and government in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Italy, Ireland, Germany, Spain, and the United States, developing technologies ranging from electric vehicles and renewable energy systems to AI-driven decision intelligence platforms.

He is the Founder of PakEVO and Director of the Institute of Energy, Climate, and Equity (IECE) at the University of Lahore, where he leads initiatives focused on transportation electrification, energy system optimisation, clean air, climate resilience, and emerging technologies.
