IECE successfully concludes SDG12 Reporting Consultancy with WWF Pakistan
The Integrated Engineering Centre of Excellence (IECE) at the University of Lahore has successfully concluded an SDG12 reporting mechanism consultancy worth USD 12K, with WWF Pakistan. This contract was initiated between the Director of IECE Dr Aazir Khan, and the Director General / CEO of WWF-Pakistan Mr Hammad Naqi Khan. Dr Aamir Khan, HoD of Mechanical Engineering @ University of Lahore, and Dr Zeeshan Rafique, Assoc. Professor at ME Depart of UOL and Saad Amjad, Head of IECE Industry 4.0 were part of the consultancy team from IECE.
The consultancy included development of indicators for sustainable development goals 12.2, 12.4 and 12.6 ensuring sustainable consumption and production for enterprises and SME organisations. A nationwide secure reporting dashboard was also developed by IECE that will be promoted by WWF and the Ministry of Climate Change of Pakistan, and will be used by industries to report indicator data.
This project is part of IECE Industry 4.0 initiatives that are part of our green technologies development.
