IECE arranges German visit for exchange program

The Pro Rector of the University of Lahore, Nasir Mehmood, Director of IECE Dr Aazir Khan, and the Head of the department of mechanical engineering Dr Aamir Khan had a productive opportunity to host Dr Francesco Morelli, and Dr Fe Wang of Jacobs University in Germany, to agree on a collaboration between the two institutes for a number of exchange and research development programs and scholarship schemes. The main theme of the discussion was a four-part program for undergraduate, graduate, and research scholars to attend Jacobs University and provide them with programs and tours to settle down in Bremen, after which the University will aid in searching for internships, jobs, and settling scholars in Germany as well.

These programs include a focus on mobility through studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Data Engineering and Supply Chain Management. Both institutes also pledged work in developing research collaborations through governmental and funding organizations.
