IECE leads the electric vehicle policy and regulation roadmap
Dr Aazir Khan, Director of the Integrated Centre of Excellence, represented IECE and the University of Lahore for its Green and Electric Vehicles Initiative, at the European Climate Foundation (TARA) workshop on the 21st and 22nd of March, 2022. The road mapping and scoping workshop picked on the sustainability of clean and renewable energies, coal and gas moratoriums, sustainable transport, and financing policies. Tara Partners include RDPI – Rural Development Policy Institute, Indus Consortium, SDPI – Sustainable Development Policy Institute, PRIED – Policy Research Institute for Equitable Development, Alternative Law Collective to name just a few. The program was chaired by Mushtaq Gaadi, Country director of TARA ECF (European Climate Fund) of Pakistan.
The intended target for this roadmap is policy making, parliamentarians, stakeholders (and end users) and for the partners to be able to promote sustainable green energy and growth in Pakistan.
