The Integrated Engineering Centre of Excellence (IeCE UOL) and its consortium of companies including Aliera UK Ltd, SAHER Electric and PakEVO made waves at the Lahore Science Mela 2023, held on October 28th and 29th 2023 in Crescent Model School. They showcased their state-of-the-art AI and Embedded technologies, generating huge crowds at the stall and leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
The key featured technologies included:
1) The Remarkable Evolution of Electric Vehicles: Visitors were taken on a fascinating journey through the developments in IeCE electric vehicle technology, highlighting the strides made in this field.
2) The Immersive World of VR Simulators: Attendees had the opportunity to explore a captivating world of virtual reality simulators, providing an immersive experience that left them awestruck.
3) The Future of Cricket Coaching with AI: IeCE UOL and Aliera UK Ltd presented an AI-driven cricket coaching System, showcasing how technology is transforming the future of coaching in this beloved sport.

Notably, IeCE’s Showcases placed a significant focus on the active participation, inclusion, and empowerment of women, marking a significant step forward in promoting diversity in the world of science and innovation and community interaction. The public were made aware of Women Mobility Schemes and Women Lead Sustainability Initiatives held at IeCE and Aliera. In addition, Senior Research Engineer Arooj Mobasher Butt featured as a speaker in the “Science Baithak” Segment. Her insights sparked interest in Green Technology among young minds, guiding and highlighting a path to a more sustainable future.
