IECE concludes consultation on National Action Plan for SDG 12 Monitoring and Reporting 

IeCE, UOL achieves another landmark in contribution to National Welfare and Sustainable Development Goals Reporting. IeCE has facilitated in providing consultancy and arranging national seminars and sessions for the recently published Report by the EU SWITCH-Asia Regional Policy Advocacy Component (RPAC) on National Action Plan on SCP (Sustainable Consumption & Production) and Recommendations for SDG 12 Monitoring and Reporting. This assessment is to provide technical support to the Government of Pakistan in strengthening its National Action Plan on SCP. As a result of this exercise, an operational baseline monitoring and reporting system has been established to assess country initiatives and progress towards attaining SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.

To develop the baseline, 11 priority areas were analyzed and national and provincial policies, documents and communications were reviewed. The highlight of this report is the formulation of nationally relevant indicators for SDG 12 monitoring and reporting in Pakistan.
