At University of Management and Technology (UMT), Tech for Tomorrow 3.0 (TFT 2025) featured an impactful and industry-oriented session on Embedded Systems, delivered by Umer Draz. The session brought together students ranging from 1st semester to final year, creating a dynamic learning environment that connected academic foundations with real-world industry practices.

Embedded systems form the backbone of modern technological innovation — powering smart devices, automation systems, robotics, electric vehicles, and industrial control systems. This session was designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of embedded system fundamentals, including microcontrollers, hardware-software integration, real-time systems, and industrial applications.

The training was thoughtfully structured to cater to students at different academic stages:

  • First-year students gained foundational knowledge and clarity about career pathways in embedded systems and automation.
  • Mid-level students explored practical implementation strategies, project development, and system integration concepts.
  • Final-year students received valuable insights into industry expectations, product development cycles, and the technical competencies required for professional success.

Through practical examples, industry case discussions, and interactive engagement, participants developed a clearer understanding of how embedded technologies drive Industry 4.0 and emerging smart solutions.
