Scoping of Electric Vehicles in Pakistan

The Integrated Engineering Centre of Excellence organizes a key seminar on the “Scoping of Electric Vehicles in Pakistan – Meeting Targets of Pakistan National Electric Vehicle Policies 2020-2025”

The Integrated Engineering Centre of Excellence (IeCe) at the University of Lahore has successfully concluded a Seminar to officially launch the document about EV’S scoping study and to formally launch the IECE and UOL stake in promoting, regularising, and developing EV technologies in Pakistan as Lead industrial and Research organization. Chief Guest Chairman BOG, Awais Rauf, Nasir Mahmood, Pro-Rector, Rector Prof.Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Miss Rabia Akhtar, Registrar, all worthy Deans and HOD’s of university of Lahore are were present in this seminar.   

Director of IeCe, Dr.Aazir  articulated about the document, “the scoping study is a funded 100-page book that does Pakistan’s EV policy gap evaluation, discusses EV market targets (set by various entities), recommendations for 2- and 3-wheel Electric and Hybrid vehicles, and how to move forward including creating a National Electric vehicles stakeholders Alliance of Pakistan. It also touches on energy, climate and monetary aspects that helps Pakistan. This is authored by IECE at the University of Lahore, and all narratives and conclusions are based on policy reviews, technologies present and developed, and an extensive survey of market in Pakistan”.
